Hull is a kind-hearted old lady who is the victim of Stevens' dishonest efforts to buy her ranch for much less than it's worth. Duff, with the aid of Freeman, stands up for Hull against the injustice. A courtroom battle, in which Stevens tries to prove Hull crazy, caps this unlikely western. This was the last picture for Hull, who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her work in HARVEY. leave a comment
