Neagle is the aristocratic widow of a classical music impresario determined to continue his work. The problem is she's out of cash and in need of a conductor. When pop musician Vaughan poses as a piano tuner, he gains entrance into her house and soon falls in love with her daughter, Scott. Neagle looks down on Vaughan until he suddenly shoots to the top of the Hit Parade with a catchy pop number. He also makes enough money to secretly finance Neagle's concerts which gets her out of debt. She soon changes her tune about pop music and has a hand-clappin', foot-tappin', totally un-square time with the kids. The rockin' tunes include "Love is the Sweetest Thing," (Ray Noble). The square ones include Handel's "Largo." leave a comment
