Farce has Bennett as a bashful, but beautiful, young girl, unhappy with her uneventful love life. Wishing to improve matters, she hires a private escort, Lyon, and skips off to Europe. She is so successful at projecting the image of a femme fatale that she is written up on the scandal page of a Parisian newspaper. The flimsy script is helped somewhat by the well-paced direction. Bennett looks wonderful in an array of extravagant gowns. leave a comment
