The Lady Of Monza: Review

Heywood portrays a nun in 17th-century Italy who finds herself passionately responding as she is being raped by a nobleman, Sabato. Later she is stricken with guilt over her behavior and has Sabato arrested. She soon finds herself pregnant and, after giving birth, Heywood arranges for his escape from prison.
