Marshall invites college friend Ryan to stay with her in an apartment house for girls with government jobs. Ryan's high-faluting attitude soon alienates everyone in the co-op. She eventually gets involved in an affair with foreign spy Quinn, who is trying to pump her for information on the married steel executive she's been seeing.
