An entertaining piece of drawing-room fluff that had already been made once in 1933 starring Frank Morgan, Myrna Loy, Robert Montgomery, and Ann Harding in the roles played here by Herbert Marshall, Joan Crawford, Robert Taylor, and Greer Garson. Byington, who was in the 1932 stage play by Crothers, is also in this remake. Crawford is a novelist who has enjoyed great success with her work.
