Laddie: Review

The third version of LADDIE contains much of the homey charm of the previous two, but lacks the skillful directorial talent of George Stevens. In this familiar tale, Holt is the Indiana farm boy who falls in love with the daughter of his new neighbor, an English squire. Joan Carroll truly captivates as the kid sister whose mischief keeps the romance brewing. A small role for Cushing before he became a major star in English horror films. leave a comment
