A bland criminal drama that seems to attack the upper class purely as a reflex, falling into the usual "suffering bourgeoise" cliches. Deneuve is a member of the posh Murri family whose marriage to a man appalls her brother Giannini, a highly respected lawyer and Socialist leader.
