An odd picture you either love or hate about a spiteful but loving ex-wife (Thulin) who is visited by the husband she divorced years earlier (Ventura). Ventura attempts to buy the country house Thulin got as part of the settlement, but he is promptly locked in a cage in the cellar. She then confesses her love for him, to which Ventura responds that it was her possessiveness that sent him packing.
