Schneider and Rome play a pair involved in the kidnaping of the child of Rome's wealthy ex-lover. Most of the picture is pretty one-dimensional, though Schneider's performance is riveting, as it is in Michelangelo Antonioni's THE PASSENGER (1975), released the same year. This picture also
