Alone on a small island, a family develops some unusual ideas for procreation. Arashi, the patriarch, sees incest as an acceptable lifestyle for his family. He is both father and grandfather to Mikuni, who is having an affair with his sister Matsui. Okiyama is a retarded sister who is a
nymphomaniac. When Kitamura comes to the island to map out plans for a sugar refinery, he is seduced by Okiyama and finds himself seduced by this strange world as well. But in the end Mikuni and Matsui are condemned for their affair and Mikuni must dig a huge pit to bury a large boulder a tidal
