Jouvet plays a corrupt doctor who takes over a small-town practice, using his position to gain control over the community by convincing everyone that they are sick. Jouvet is the only bright spot in this poorly written, unevenly directed attempt at satire. He also performed in a production of the play in 1936. leave a comment
