Kiss Them For Me

First a novel by Frederic Wakeman, then a play by Luther Davis, finally a screenplay by Julius Epstein, KISS THEM FOR ME is a pleasant trifle with some wit, some sentimentality, and a touch of Grant's class to round it out. It's WW II and three navy flyers, Grant, Blyden, and Walston, take a much-needed holiday in San Francisco. They're heroes and Walston is even running for federal office in his home state. Klemperer is the public relations officer assigned to look after the men. They rent a hotel suite, despite the shortage of rooms in the city, and decide to toss the party to end all parties.
