Widowed Sally Field is about to remarry when the ghost of her husband, James Caan, enters her life. She goes through with her marriage to Jeff Bridges anyway, creating a bizarre triangle. Though technically competent, this remake of the Brazilian hit DONA FLOR AND HER TWO HUSBANDS (1978)
is performed with little enthusiasm.
