Searching for a southern beauty to play the lead in a Broadway musical, Ameche and Levant are forced to listen to an audition by Martin. They agree to give her the role, but she is soon sent packing. Ameche follows her to pursue his own romantic interests. Strong performances by entire cast, with a special display of talent by Martin.
