Adams is an African-born composer who makes a big splash in Europe. However, when his tribe is put under a spell by a witch doctor (Martins), Adams returns home to help Portman stop the evil conjurer. Martins puts a curse on Adams, claiming he will die come the next full moon. This
frightens the composer, despite all he has learned abroad. It is only with the support of his friends that Adams is able to realize that the curse is utter nonsense. This film means well, trying valiantly to tell a sincere story. However, there is a lack of conviction that ultimately reduces the
story to voodoo silliness.
