Adams is an African-born composer who makes a big splash in Europe. However, when his tribe is put under a spell by a witch doctor (Martins), Adams returns home to help Portman stop the evil conjurer. Martins puts a curse on Adams, claiming he will die come the next full moon. This frightens the composer, despite all he has learned abroad.
