Brown is invited by his uncle, Niven, to come and visit him in Germany. Niven is an Englishman who has made a fortune in postwar Germany and is married a sensual Italian woman, Lollobrigida. Upon his arrival the young lad finds himself being seduced by his aunt, who wants him to kill Niven
so that she can have his fortune for herself. Based on a novel by Nabokov (the author of
Lolita), this film is highly visual with some nice touches. Characters, however, are not drawn carefully enough, and the film is spotty at best. Lollobrigida does have some moments trying to seduce the boy,
