King Of The Gamblers: Review

A football player threatens to expose a game-fixing operation run by a gambler and sports magazine publisher. The player is killed, and another player is framed for the murder. A crusading district attorney, who also happens to be the publisher's stepson, defends the accused and exposes the crooked scheme. Although the acting is fair, several implausible plot twists are introduced into KING OF THE GAMBLERS' standard story, and George Blair's direction is uneven. leave a comment
