King Of Alcatraz

This movie starts off as a light comedy and then takes a dramatic turn. Nolan and Preston (in his screen debut) are radio operators aboard different ships, both owned by Hall. They are continually trying to outdo each other until Hall gets tired of their games and puts them on the same luxury liner. Patrick is a nurse on board the vessel; she dated the two in the past, but won't have a thing to do with them now. The three discover that a group of gangsters is aboard ship and the kindly old lady who recently boarded is actually gang leader Naish, a recent escapee from Alcatraz.
