Kim

This adaptation of the classic Rudyard Kipling novel features a young, bright-eyed Dean Stockwell as Kim, the rebellious, adventure-seeking son of an English envoy in the 1880s in India. Fed up with his school's rigid rules, Kim assumes the guise of a turbaned peasant boy and wanders through the Indian marketplace. He is befriended by a philosophical lama (Paul Lukas) who treats him with fatherly warmth and offers him invaluable advice, while from Mahbub Ali (Errol Flynn), a flamboyant horse thief who doubles as a British agent, Kim learns the finer points of espionage.
