Two former child stars are paired together as college chums in what may be the first movie ever inspired by a slogan. Cooper is a college student who just happens to be the Kilroy of "Kilroy Was Here" fame. He's in college on the GI bill, though the deans don't want him in their school due to his wartime infamy and lack of school credits. However, members of a snobbish fraternity want him for themselves until they discover he has lower-class friends. Coogan is Cooper's buddy, somehow managing to get his friend in and out of trouble. It's a little dated, and some of the situations are pretty silly. However, the two Jackies are a nice combination, with good working chemistry between them. leave a comment
