Savage is a young man just released from prison on a trumped-up rape charge. Ten years inside have hardened him; all he can think about is revenge on Roman, the lawyer whose ineptitude got him incarcerated, and Bernard, his accuser. He settles in his mother Sothern's boarding house where the roomers include Williams of TV's "Laverne and Shirley." He manages to get Roman drunk and sets her house on fire.
