The Killer Shrews

KING KONG featured a giant gorilla, GODZILLA had an enormous lizard, so the only terrifying animal left for Ken Curtis to make a film about was that evil little creature, the shrew! Curtis served as both producer and supporting player in this so-bad-it's-good feature. Lumet--real-life father of director Sidney--is an evil scientist who creates a formula that makes the tiny shrew resemble something like a collie with a shrew-mask.
