Meredith is cast as an American living in the Philippines whose son has been kidnaped, which forces him to enlist the aid of his wife's former fiance (Phipps), a former FBI agent. Phipps attempts to double-cross Meredith by keeping the ransom money for himself. The plot is foiled when his
girl friend finds out and tries to stop him.
