Francis is married to millionaire Kolker but discovers that her supposed ex-husband Owsley never got the divorce he said he would. Now he wants $50,000 to keep the whole affair under wraps. She confesses to her sister-in-law Ware and heads down to Havana to get a quickie divorce. But Kolker has been suspicious of his wife and hires private detective Brent to follow her, not explaining their relationship.
