Hawkins stars as a police detective patiently sorting through the scant clues left after a mysterious robbery of a safe. As Hawkins investigates, the robberies continue, and the detective notes that all the safes were of the same make. Checking the employee records of the safe manufacturing company, Hawkins learns that the only possible suspect has been dead for quite some time. When a workman trying to stop the robber's getaway is killed, the stakes get even higher.
