Holy smoke: Ben Stiller, Jenna Elfman and Edward Norton

What could have been a one-joke movie about a rabbi (Ben Stiller) and a Catholic priest (Edward Norton) who fall in love with the same woman (Jenna Elfman) turns out to be a very entertaining neurotic-romantic comedy — the kind of film people used to call a "real New York movie."
