A dumb premise, a vapid script, and uncertain direction all contribute to making this a must-miss film. McNichol is a talented flutist who has a game leg, the result of a childhood affliction, and a bubbling attractiveness to men. Guest works at her answering service and is enthralled by her voice; Sam Carradine is a wolf she encounters in a restaurant; and even Daly, a gay stockbroker, wants to marry her. She can't handle all the attention and hies herself off to a French ski resort to meditate. There, however, she meets three more men who can't take their eyes off her. Director Molinaro was out of his element with this, although he had little to work with in Burns's script. Nice European travelog shots and something of a social conscience when it comes to dealing with the handicapped are all that rescue this from total obscurity. leave a comment
