A group of teenagers is presented against a backdrop of class elections in this mediocre effort to capture the effervescence of the 1940s high school set. The junior class presidential candidacy has a spoiled rich boy running for the post against some youngsters who just love to sing. It's
all just an excuse to deliver some more tunes. Included are: "Keep The Beat," "Teen Canteen" (Sid Robin), "Trimball For President" (Stanley Cowan), "My Heart Sings" (Jamblan Kerpin, Harold Rome), "Loch Lomond" and "It's Me Oh Lawd."
