A Los Angeles photographer sets out to find football star Waterfield (a real-life pigskinner of the time) in the wilds of Africa. She finds Jungle Jim (Weissmuller) instead, who, amazingly, locates the footballer with almost no effort (and no map). A plot involving synthetic diamonds (if
that sounds familiar, see JUNGLE MAN-EATERS) adds a bit more intrigue as Weissmuller and the girl rescue Waterfield, who has a quarterback's knack for tossing grenades. Some pretty hokey dinosaurs give Jim and Tamba some tough times.
