One of the least interesting of the Bowery Boys' pictures, this film sends Gorcey and Hall to Africa. Hall thinks he is blessed after discovering the ability to smell diamonds. The boys believe they're going to strike it rich; then a group of natives also finds a use for Hall's proboscis. Oddly, this episode has Hall, quite out of character, try to commit suicide--a rather unlikely and morbid action for the usually freewheeling buffoon.
