Reporter Sinclair becomes involved in an effort to help an innocent man framed in a drug trafficking case. The victim's innocence is brought to Sinclair's attention by the accused's down-and-out pals, who are doing everything their meager capabilities will allow to get their buddy out of
jail. Luckily, the reporter sides with them, using his influence to see that justice is done. This remake of DOSS HOUSE (1933), which was also directed by Baxter, is captivating mainly because of the novelty of the story and the many strange characters that are introduced.
