A surrealistic independent film that mixes psychoanalysis, modern German terrorism, Bolshevik Russia, and a myriad of hallucinatory images. Michelson is on her psychiatrist's couch, revealing a stream-of-consciousness which unfolds into scenes of terrorism, sex, and suicide. It's not as
morose as it sounds: there's a particularly funny bit involving an obscene phone call by none other than a heavy-breathing Leon Trotsky. Definitely for a literate-minded audience. Shot in 16mm.
