This film, beautifully photographed by topnotch cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond, is good-hearted family fare marred by a hopelessly naive conclusion. Set on the Olympic Peninsula and San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest, the film concerns the dilemma facing a tribe of native Americans.
