Journey To The Seventh Planet

In the year 2001 Agar leads a UN exploration team on an expedition to Uranus. There they find that the planet is controlled by an evil being that feeds on their past unconscious fears and desires. For example, they all meet ex-girl friends, and one homesick crew member sees his old home town. Another, afraid of rodents, is attacked by a giant rat. The men finally hunt down the being and destroy it by freezing it to death, thus escaping from their past and returning to their present. A space odyssey with a predictable plot. Nearly the entire cast and crew went on to make REPTILICUS in 1962.
