Josephine And Men

Buchanan is Johns' lady-chasing, bachelor uncle. Through flashbacks he tells her story. She is a constant fighter for the underdog, abandoning her wealthy fiance the night before their wedding to marry his starving playwright friend, Finch. When Finch becomes a success, who should turn up but Sinden, the jilted fiance. Now he's the one in trouble and on the lam from the cops. Once more Johns' affections switch, but when Sinden is cleared, she comes to her senses. Unfortunately, this film never reaches its humorous potential, perhaps due to its passive direction and the fact that there are too many minor details clogging up the script.
