After the success of 1946's THE JOLSON STORY, Columbia executives quickly rushed a follow-up into production, though it took almost three years for JOLSON SINGS AGAIN to be completed. Once again, the music makes the film, a wall-to-wall tunefest with many of the same songs contained in the original.
