Eyer is the son of McNally, an important crime figure. He is so shocked by Dad's dirty dealings that he starts to stutter. Gray, the boy's teacher, takes an interest in the child but finds more than she bargained for when the boy becomes a mob target. He has information that could hurt the
organization, and the film becomes a chase between cops and mobsters. The idea is an interesting twist on old themes, but is hampered by a heavy dose of cliches. Eyer is not bad as the kid, and McNally handles his difficult, if slightly unbelievable, role nicely.
