War breaks out between rival fishermen as the men of Cornwall take on a band of "Froggies." Walls is a Cornish harbor master who has to deal with a French poacher, the wily Rosay. Complications come in the form of across-the-water romances and everything is resolved in the end. The cast
includes real fishermen and villagers from Cornwall along with members of the Free French resistance movement.
