Silly little film has Canova bagging a pigeon one day while quail hunting in the Ozarks. It turns out her find is a Nazi carrier pigeon and she turns it over to the FBI. Canova is declared "No. 1 Patriot," incurring the wrath of Nazi spy head Cowan, who runs a New York nightclub as a front. Enter Brown as a theatrical agent. He wants to bring Canova to New York to sing at a nightclub. The film runs a little long, bouncing back and forth between drama and satire.
