This slaphappy satire about publicity-seeking performers seems blithely unaware of its own incompetence, and barely rises to the comic heights of open-mike night at a bottom-of-the-barrel comedy club. Though DJ Ryan Lawson (Ryan Cameron) is bored with hosting a small-time morning call-in show in Atlanta, Georgia, he's more than willing to sleep with the station's lady manager to keep the steady paychecks rolling in. What Ryan really wants is to be the next Chris Rock, and to that end he's willing to go alone with every pie-in-the-sky scheme concocted by his agent.
