Totally daft, but absolutely riveting. Writer-director Oliver Stone's story revolves around New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison's (Kevin Costner) 1967 prosecution of local businessman Clay Shaw (Tommy Lee Jones) for complicity in John F. Kennedy's murder. Love it or hate it, Stone's high-impact visual style and the film's pre-X-Files conspiracy paranoia make this one of the key films of the '90s. Read the complete review for JFK

So, let me get this straight....

So, let me get this straight. We have a pro-choice Republican presidential candidate taking on a pro-life Democrat and both are struggling to keep the election from going negative. As Kevin Costner said in JFK, "we're through the looking glass, people." Now, I don't mind that The West Wing engages in political wish fulfillment. Hell, that's why we all watch it, right?
