Thanks to an outstanding cast, this air-disaster film manages to limp to a landing with its "thriller" status intact. Attenborough, a once brilliant scientist, has booby-trapped a transatlantic jetliner because he has been obsessed with thoughts of revenge ever since his daughter was killed in a plane crash.
