Alda, a draft-evading filmmaker, suggests to film buff Thomas that they marry for convenience sake--he wants to avoid the draft; she needs a father for her soon-to-be-born baby. They wed, but keep separate bedrooms, continuing with their normal affairs. Eventually Alda falls in love with Thomas, the baby is born, and the draft board rejects his deferment. JENNY is marred by its dated, late-1960s tell-it-like-it-is approach. Includes a clip from A PLACE IN THE SUN. leave a comment
