Brought up in the warm and happy surroundings of a white couple's farm, the aborigine Kunogh runs off into the wilds when she falls in love with a tribesman who has been wandering across those reaches. The picture does a good job of detailing the initial finding of the girl and the manner
in which she fits into the white family, but interest quickly fades when an attempt at adding fiery drama is included. Said to be the first color feature from Australia, the scenic wonders of this film help when the story starts to slacken.
