A later film in the long-running BOWERY BOYS series, this one has Gorcey and Hall helping a reporter friend who was beaten while under cover on an investigative assignment in a local prison. Condon's editor, Talbot, is only too happy to help them stage a bogus jewel robbery so Hall and Gorcey can be put in prison.
