Kids will love it, and even though the story is nearly a carbon copy of The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, this mixture of live action and stop-motion animation (courtesy of Harryhausen protege Jim Danforth) carries its own share of fun thrills. A humble farmer's son (Sinbad's Kerwin Mathews) battles an assortment of fantastic creatures as he escorts a young damsel (Judi Meredith) to the safety of a convent. Farm boy Jack heroically rescues Princess Elaine from sorcerer Pendragon by slaying his bloodthirsty giant.
