It's The Rage

The shadow of firearm violence drives this handsomely photographed drama in which characters repeatedly cross paths until their destinies intersect at the point of a gun. Pathological hothead Warren (Jeff Daniels) shoots an intruder in his home; when the dead man turns out to be his business partner, he claims the whole thing was a tragic mistake. Warren's wife Helen (Joan Allen) has her doubts, as do Warren's lawyer Tim Sullivan (Andre Braugher) and the homicide detectives who catch the case (Bokeem Woodbine, Robert Forster).
