NBC is bumping its annual airing of It's a Wonderful Life by a week in favor of an encore presentation of The Sound of Music Live!
It's a Wonderful Life
A sequel to It's a Wonderful Life is in the works, Variety reports.
Entitled It's a Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story, the film will focus on George Bailey's grandson as he undergoes his own holiday epiphany when an angel (Karolyn Grimes, who played Bailey's daughter Zuzu in the Frank Capra film) comes to show him the world if he had never been born.
It's a Wonderful Life
More than 5.5 million people tuned in to the holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life on NBC Christmas Eve, marking it the biggest audience for Frank Capra's 1946 film in seven years.
Despite the fact that they work on the set of a (fake) bar, the cast of TBS' new comedy, Sullivan & Son know to keep things professional. But after closing time, all bets are off. Especially if Oasis' "Don't Look Back in Anger" comes on the jukebox.
"We did this DJ junket last weekend, and we all met at this restaurant. I asked the DJ to play it, and myself and the rest of the cast stood around this fountain and sang that song. [Co-star] Owen Benjamin ended up jumping into the fountain and splashing everybody," co-creator, executive producer and star Steve Byrne tells TVGuide.com. "That's when the booze was kicking in."

It's A Wonderful Life
On Christmas Eve and Christmas, people who squeezed in some television amidst all the opening of presents, eating and visiting the folks went with an old holiday standby and — what else? — football.

You know, it really is a wonderful life when you get to spend the holidays in Warehouse 13.
Because we've apparently all been good boys and girls this year, Syfy last night unwrapped its annual batch of Christmas-themed episodes from the net's holy trinity — W13, Haven and Eureka. Of the three treats, Watercooler was most wowed by Warehouse's fresh, cheeky approach to one of...

A Christmas Story Marathon
Butter up plenty of popcorn, gather the family and settle in for lots of holiday yuks as this 1983 classic airs in 12 consecutive screenings. Directed by Bob Clark (this is great enough to forgive him for Porky's), and written and wonderfully narrated by humorist Jean Shepherd, the film tracks the misadventures of Ralphie Parker (Peter Billingsley), a beamish lad in the 1940s who wants nothing else for Christmas but a Red Ryder BB gun. — Dean Maurer

James Roday, Dule Hill
Psych's resident fake psychic, Shawn Spencer (James Roday), may not really be able to read minds. But after four years, five seasons and 72 episodes, Roday and his on-screen partner-in-crime, Dulé Hill, have developed some very telekinetic capabilities."We're always thinking the same thing, but then he always says his out loud and then I don't have to, which is awesome," Roday says. As the duo prepares for the second half of Season 5 — in which they'll pay tribute to pop culture touchstones like Twin Peaks, Police Academy and It's a Wonderful Life — the stars of the USA comedy talked about their characters' romantic entanglements (or lack thereof), dream guest stars and the joy of...
Tracking down ghosts at a Native American burial ground is just another day at the office for the four psychic mediums who are followed in this new unscripted series as they travel across the country, helping the undead cross over to the other side. In the opener, the mediums come to the aid of a Massachusetts family who claim to have an angry shadowy figure residing in their basement. Talk about an unwelcome houseguest!
